How to Measure Bra Size

Are you having bra problems? There is nothing worse then having your breasts bust out of your bras. There must be something wrong. Try fitting. Fitting to the right bra size. Maybe you have to resort to just having a custom made bra. 36 D just might not do it for ya'. There are all type of women out there, and we all know there are plenty and plenty of sizes out there. All women need the perfect fit to be satisfied. All women need the best coverage to feel comfortable. We all need the perfect bra. So learn how to measure your bra size.

Measuring Your Bra Size

You should start with measuring under your arms and the highest part of your back across the highest part of your chest. If the measurement is an even number that will be your band size, if it ends up being an odd number just add one inch and then that will be your band size. All women are different and will all most likely have a different band size.

The second step would be determining your cup size. Now how do you do that? To start out you measure lightly over the biggest part of your breast, then you will subtract your band measurement from your bust measurement. Each Inch in measuring determines a cup size. An example being if your band size is a 38, and your bust size is a 36, you would wear a B cup since the difference between the two measurements is two inches.

When measuring you should wear a bra with little padding or none at all for best results. If your measurements still don't fit your bra size, just try plenty of bras for size to find the best one. Or go to a professional to have a bra made just for you and your size.

Your body changes more than you may think, it is said that eight in ten women are wearing their wrong bra size. Most women don't really notice when their bust size changes. And most likely, that's the least topic on the mind. When you are having spillover the cup, really tight back straps, or just discomfort in general it is more than likely you are wearing the wrong size. Weather it be from having children, losing and gaining weight, more or less movement. All of which have an effect on the way your bra may fit you.

Just remember, you can measure yourself to find the right size for you, and just because you can't find the right bra for you in a(n) department store does not mean all hope is lost for you. Keep looking until you find the best one that suits you! Good luck!
